Peterborough Young Singers and a Peterborough Baroque Ensemble performed an evening of popular classics in the stunning setting of Peterborough Cathedral.

As the name suggests the concert was performed primarily by candlelight and this set the atmosphere perfectly for the singing of repertoire by both Bach and Vivaldi.

The north transept was filled with the four part harmonies from the choir and supporting guest singers; including past members of Peterborough Young Singers who helped with the duets. Mulled wine and mince pies were served in the south transept during the interval; giving the audience time to socialise, meeting up with old friends and making new acquaintances.

An evening which impressed guests including the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Peterborough.
